A fuel tanker travelling from Accra towards Nsawam has exploded at Pokuase after catching fire Monday.
According to reports, there was a spillage of oil as a result of the impact of the accident, which caused the explosion.
However, there is no reported case of fatality.
Adom FM�s driver Kwame Twum, who was at the scene, said about seven cars going to Nsawam caught in the inferno have been burnt to ashes.
He said explosion created massive vehicular traffic on the road.
The police and fire service had not reported to the scene at the time of filing this report.
