No Tribe In Debut Annual Concert

THE CHIEF Executive Officer of No Tribe, an Accra-based gospel group, Nana Kweku Osei also known as NACEE and the entire group has launched an annual musical concert alongside their newly released album titled, One God. According to Mr Osei, the brain child of the group who spoke to the DAILY HERITAGE, the group has decided to give gospel music lovers and their fans a fair share of No Tribe, hence the beginning of the revolution of yearly live gospel concert. The history of No Tribe dates back to 2007 with some few dedicated and talented members such as Lord Bondzie-Amissah (his brother), Francis Osei among others and since then the group has grown from time to time, and has three albums to their credit. He said the latest album which consists of 28 songs has famous tracks such as Osabarima, which gives appellations to the Almighty God, the 5 beliefs of No Tribe, �You Don Do Well which was sang in pidgin English in hi-life vein full of praises to God for what He has done for them. Some of the songs are �Yesu Ye,� �Oma Jesu� and �Time to Worship� among others that constitute the 28 tracks on their latest album. The ace multi-instrumentalist said that their latest album consists of music from spheres in the gospel; he mentioned worship, praises and appellations which will suit all Christian occasions. The One God Live Concert, they said is one of its kind in the country and will not be a nine-day wonder and said the group has plans underway to extend the yearly musical concert to all the regions come next year. The leader of group said he plays key board, drums, bass guitar, talking drums, as well as percussions and said that three groups form the No Tribe-they are No Tribe Choir, the instrumentalist and the management and they have permanent five piece band. NACEE said that they always increase the number of bands men to ten depending on the size of the show. One God live concert which has been scheduled for November 29, at C.E.M North Legon will feature artists such as Cwesi Oteng, Ceccy Twum, OJ KODA, Kalibos and Ahoofe Patri, Kwabena Kwabena and the guest speaker is Reverend Steve Mensah.
