Robbery Attack: Armed Robbers Shoot At Abedi Pele's Son

Kumasi Asante Kotoko star Rahim Ayew has been injured in an armed robbery attack at his residence in East Legon on Wednesday morning. A source close to the former Black Stars player who is also the eldest son of Abedi Pele told allsports.com.gh Rahim had been grazed by a bullet. "Rahim was playing video games at home this dawn when he heard noises on his compound. He checked his curtains only to be met with a masked man who asked him to open the doors or be shot. He refused and moved away from the living room area but the robbers used a heavy object to break down his door." "Upon entry one of the robbers hit Rahim with his weapon and fired a shot at him, grazing him. They then took his flat screen TV, his shoes, phones and some money," the source noted. The player's residence was one of four in the neighbourhood that was robbed during a well co-ordinated operation. Checks indicate Rahim is doing well and has filed a complaint with the Police.
