Mahamas Handlers Sabotaging Him Kwesi Pratt

Managing Editor of the Insight Newspaper claims the handlers of President John Dramani Mahama are subtly sabotaging him and that has affected his performance. Kwesi Pratt speaking on Accra-based Radio Gold alleged that it is as a result of the misinformation fed the Presidency that causes President Mahama to always misfire anytime he comes public to address certain issues. He continued that the poor information management by the established communication apparatus also leads the President to most of the time grant unnecessary interviews. What is sad, he said, is how the President has been drawn into the front line of communication instead of being behind to always be the final authority on issues. The President must talk with authority and that has never been there because the handlers of the President have failed him several times over, he said. He said he was baffled when the President during his interview on Metro TVs Good Evening Ghana programme stated that he would never give promises on the energy situation again. They are always putting the President ahead so that when the President collapses, what is the fall back positionI dont understand, he said. To him, President John Mahama was right when he confessed to distancing himself from making further promises concerning the crisis because all deadlines he has given have failed. What is it which has taken the President to the point where he cant make promises againbecause the briefs he has been given have all turned out not to be true, he said. He further wondered why the President would go in for needless interviews if he always get the right information from the workers at the information ministry. If you destroy the credibility of the President, what is left..?, he quizzed. His shock, he claimed remains in the fact that the saboteurs are never punished for the misinformation they grant the President. All of those who give him this information which embarrasses him, nothing seem to be happening to them, they continue to enjoy their offices and so on, he said. To this end, he called on the President not to blame anyone for the communication lapses the government faces but his party communicators at the presidency.
