Commercial drivers at Dome�Kwabenya in the Greater Accra region are threatening to block all routes leading to the town due to the deplorable nature of their bridge. According to them, the only bridge which gives them access to the town is near collapse and authorities have turned a blind eye to it. They indicated that all efforts to get authorities in charge to rehabilitate the bridge has proven futile and are therefore left with on other option than to take the laws into their own hands. The drivers also attributed the high rate of accidents in the town to the deplorable nature of the bridge and called on government for an urgent action. Some of drivers who spoke Adom news said though construction of the bridge began early this year, it has stalled for no apparent reason, thus, endangering the lives of residents who use the bridge.
