Kumasi Asante Kotoko have flatly debunked reports that they are travelling to South Africa to play high-profile friendly matches. Top Member of Kotoko, Alhaji Ali Maradona, said they are aware of the rumour about the team flying to South Africa. He stated emphatically that there is no iota of truth in it, urging Kotoko supporters to disregard the reports. According to him some media outlets have been spreading the wild rumour which has no substance. He urged Kotoko supporters not to accept reports about the club which are not from official sources, saying some media outlets are fond of spreading wild rumours about the club. �They will spread rumour that we are going to South Africa which is far from the truth; and when eventually we don�t make the trip, they would turn around and lambast us.�
