Asiedu Nketia Borrowed Money From Kennedy Agyapong To Pay Light Bill Kofi Adams asserts

Deputy General Secretary of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams has condemned the holier than thou attitude of his boss, Johnson Asiedu Nketia when it comes to party loyalty. He said the General Secretary who is himself guilty should be the last person to espouse party loyalty as the benchmark to be elected a national officer in NDC. Kofi Adams was reacting to Asiedu Nketias advice to party delegates not to elect unfaithful people as national executives. Addressing party members at the campaign launch of the party Chairman, General Mosquito as he is popular called said the next most important thing is loyalty; loyalty to the cause of the NDC. Are you dealing with people who when they lose elections they begin singing with the opposition; dining with the opposition? Are you going to elect leaders who have no problem leaking insider party information to the opposition? he quizzed. But in an apparent response to this statement on Asempa FMs Ekosii Sen programme Thursday, Kofi Adams said the General Secretary is being hypocritical. According to him, it is an established fact that Asiedu Nketia some years back borrowed money from outspoken New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Ken Agyepong to pay his light bill. Between him and someone who has not collected any money from the opposition, who will betray the NDC he quizzed. The aspiring National Organizer bemoaned the hate campaign being waged by his boss just because Im contesting his friend [Yaw Boateng Gyan] I dont expect him [Mosquito] to support everyone; quit the lies against me and market your choice based on truth he stated. Kofi Adams who claims to be scandalized by the conduct of General Mosquito said he make a formal complaint to the partys National Executive Committee for the issue to be resolved amicably. Im completely scandalized by the behavior of Mosquito and I will table my concerns at the NEC meeting.
