You've To Marry A Lady From My Hometown If You Want To Be Prez - Asiedu Nketia

The General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has wished former President John Agyekum Kufour a long life and prosperity on his 76th birthday today. May his [Ex-Prez Kufuor's] birthday and every day be filled with the warmth of sunshine, the happiness of smiles, the sounds of laughter, the feeling of love and the sharing of good cheer, he said. Despite Mr. Asiedu Nketias deepest wishes, he noted on OKAY FMs Ade Akye Abia that, Mr. Kufour still owes him an undisclosed amount for marrying his relative; Madam Theresa Kufour. Ex-Prez Kufour is my brother-in-law but he has refused to pay the brother-in-laws' price for marrying my sister. He knows that. I am still waiting for that money though, he said. The NDC Chief Scribe also urged all presidential flagbearers to consider finding a wife from the Brong-Ahafo Region if they want to lead Ghana. You know if you really want to be a president of this country [Ghana], then you have to marry a lady from my home town. Ex Prez Kufours wife is from my hometown as well as President John Dramani Mahamas wife, Mrs. Lordina. I hope other presidential candidates will learn from them [Kufour and Mahama] he cheerfully said.
