Come December 20th, 2014, the delegates of our great tradition the National Democratic Congress (NDC), that party that has won four out of the six elections held under Ghana�s 4th Constitutional arrangement, would gather in Kumasi to choose the next set of executives to man the affairs of our great party for the next four years. It is very quickly becoming clear that the race is between incumbent Dr Kwabena Adjei (Wayo Wayo) and Dr. Ebenezer Kofi Ofori Portophy. The Grassroots For Portophy has therefore come together to campaign for this great son of NDC, because of his affinity to the grassroots. Today there is a ground swell of agitation of party rank and file to our government that they have not been considered in the distribution of the benefits of Ghanaian life. This is true, because for many of our supporters, getting access to our leaders remains a far off dream rather than a reality. Dr. Portophy has however, over many years, demonstrated that he is the man of the grassroots, who have their well-being at heart. It is for this reason that the Grassroots for Portophy (G4P) is calling on all delegates to hand over the chairmanship to Dr. Portophy. To win power in 2016, the NDC needs a chairman who can galvanize the base, a peoples� chairman, and Portophy is the man! Grassroots for Portophy! Portophy for the Grassroots!
