The campaign team of the aspiring National Organizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams has questioned the National Organizer of the party, Yaw Boateng Gyan on why he has kept quiet for all this while if he knew something about the death of Prof. John Evans Atta Mills, Ghana's former president. In a statement released, they sought to ask why he has not given this information to the National Security. "What bothers us now was our current National Organizer, Yaw Boateng Gyan threatening to spill the beans on Mills' death? So, he knows about what killed the good old Professor all this while? And he didn't border to give this information to National Security?". Read Full Statement Below: We have watched with much sadness the unguided comments made by our party General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketia on several platforms in relation to some current executive members of the party vying for positions. We know and believe John Asiedu Nketia is pointing his guns to no other person than Kofi Adams who is vying for National Organizer position of our beloved party. We thought and believe there is the need for party unity during and after congress and did not want to take the party General Secretary on. We decided to react to Johnson Asiedu Nketia because Kofi Adams received standing ovation in the women's conference in Wa. A lot of delegates see and complain about why the General Secretary doesn't just want to see Kofi Adams because every little opportunity giving him, he points his guns to him. Word from the congress ground has it that the entire building erupted the moment Kofi Adams entered the hall but when the opportunity brought itself for Asiedu Nketia, as usual of him, trading his path of envious behavior towards Kofi Adams. How can Asiedu Nketia be saying that a man who has risen through the ranks is not loyal to the NDC party!!? Has Asiedu Nketia forgotten that Kofi Adams is the Spokesperson of the NDC founder His Excellency Jerry Rawlings or he has not regretted for his unguided comments in the past towards the NDC party founder!!? We are foreseeing a humiliation never before witnessed in the annals of our party politics come 20th in the National Organizer contest in Kumasi. We believe Kofi Adams is too much of a grassroots politician to face rejection in the hands of delegates of a grassroots party like the NDC. Kofi Adams was a TEIN founding member TEIN organizer - University of Cape Coast Adisadel village branch chairman Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa constituency youth organizer Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa constituency secretary Central Regional Youth Organizer Deputy National Youth Organizer Deputy General Secretary Who in the NDC has such rich grassroots records than Kofi Adams? What bothers us now was our current National Organizer, Yaw Boateng Gyan threatening to spill the beans on Mills' death? So, he knows about what killed the good old Professor all this while? And he didn't border to give this information to National Security? What we are seeing is that he wants to hide behind the death of an innocent man for political sympathy? Never in NDC! We are aware of how a drowning man operates. We are also aware of how desperate Asiedu Nketia and his group are working to destroy the name and reputation of Kofi Adams, but thank God the delegates reason beyond where the now "tin god" of NDC wants them to believe. Kofi Adams "power" is driving people to the brink, and it is getting intriguing by the day. Take it or leave it, the moment of truth is here. No amount of lies and propaganda can save anyone. It is about a grassroots leader who can get the job done. And there is no better National Organizer to lead the 2016 operations, anywhere, ever than Kofi Adams now. It is ‪Kofi Adams or never!!
