The Ministry of Communications has reminded Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) that the ban on procurement of Christmas gifts and presents with Government funds announced by President John Mahama last year, is still in force. A statement signed by the Sector Minister, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, and copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) on Monday, said the 2013 directive targeting all MDAs financed from the consolidated fund �is still in force and all concerned are expected to comply.�
