Prez Mahama Given 10-Day Ultimatum To Fix Eastern Region Roads

A group calling itself Mass Action for Development in the Eastern Region has given the president a 10-day ultimatum to fix deplorable roads in the region or face their wrath. According to them, roads in the region have become death traps, making life extremely difficult for residents and drivers who ply the roads. Speaking on Adom FM, the Convener of the group, Kingsley Ofosu Ntiamoah indicated that the Mahama-led government has "woefully neglected" the Eastern region and they will be forced to stage a massive demonstration to protest about the sorry state of their roads. The President is behaving as though we the people in the Eastern region are not part of the country. Our roads are very poor to the extent that residents always find it very difficult to ply on the roads to do their businesses. Pregnant women are also dying and so if we dont see any improvement in our roads, then we will embark on a massive demonstration and we will make sure to sustain it till the right thing is done he insisted.
