Seven Dropped From Black Meteors Squad

Head coach of Ghana�s U-23[Black Meteors] team, Malik Jabir has pruned down his squad from 30 to 23. The Black Meteors have been camping at the Ghanaman Soccer center of Excellence in prampram for the past one month ahead of their All-African games qualifier against Liberia. The team which travelled last month to Nigeria to take on the Super Eagles in an international friendly are scheduled to take on their West African counterparts [Liberia] in March next year. After several weeks in camp, Malik Jabir has finally trimmed down his squad to continue their busy schedules ahead of the 11th All-African games in Congo Brazzaville next year. Hearts of Lions striker Isaac Osai, Emmanuel Osei from Ash Gold and Abdul Latif Amadu of Kotoko were all shown the exit by the veteran coach. The other players include Seth Paintsil (B. A. United), Daniel Twi (Techiman City), Kwabena Twumasi (Ebusua Dwarfs) and Robert Abanga (Pure Joy Stars). Ghana, if manage to edge past Liberia in a two-legged tier will face Congo DR in the next round before taking on rivals Nigeria in the final round to book a place at Congo Brazzaville 2015. The 2015 All-African games have been slated for December 5-19 2015.
