A suspect in East Legon Police Cells has hanged himself.
The man, Dickson Adams who was arrested for attempting to murder his ex-girlfriend was said to have used a sponge to commit the act.
How he managed to get the sponge in the police cell is a question that needs to be answered.
Peace FM news managed to speak with the Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Police Service, DSP Cephas Arthur who confirmed the incident and further said they are investigating how the deceased got access to the sponge in the cell to hang himself.
