Joy 4 Fame Shipping Donates to Ayirebi Huda Islamic School

Mr John Obiri Yeboah, Chief Executive Officer of Joy 4 Fame Shipping Company, as part of his philanthropic work, has donated building materials to the Ayirebi Huda Islamic School. The donation was part of his commitment to build a classroom block for the schools kindergarten classes. The items include one trip of sand, two packets of iron sheets, and 10 bags of cement. Presenting the items, Mr Yeboah said he was moved by the condition of the pupils and the classroom in which they were studying some years ago when he visited his mother, who was then a teacher at the school. The classroom where my mother was teaching was nothing to write home about; additionally, the conditions of the pupils in the class were equally disheartening. Some of these little ones were sitting on the bare floor. John, who completed his primary and junior high education at the school, said that was what made him decide to come back home to help, adding that education was very important in the development of a child and the conditions under which they study also go a long way to that effect. He said three years ago he donated school desks and 10 sets of computers to the school to provide some comfort for the pupils and also to help the children in their quest to study Information Communication Technology (ICT). As a people, we cannot always be waiting for government and authorities to do things for us; sometimes it is very important that we come together to help ourselves, so Im inviting parents and all those who can help in one way or the other to come together and help develop the school, Mr Yeboah said.
