I have read from today's edition (Wednesday, December 17, 2014) of the New Crusading Guide its front page story which the above headline, to the effect that I am allegedly enjoying the support of the so called Ahwoi�s faction in our NDC Party. I want to state very clearly and without any equivocation that I do not belong to any supposed faction or factions within our party, and I have not been a beneficiary of financial support from any such alleged faction and as such would not want to be pigeonholed into one. My purpose in this whole enterprise in addition to my declared mission and vision is service as the fulcrum around who the party would be organized, and united with a singleness of purpose as we prepare towards the future. As a rather heterogeneous political entity from inception, there are bound to be currents and that is the reason why we need a National Chairman who has enough leverage to ensure that we bring balance and harmony into the party. I call for media circumspection in the reportage on such issues. I am sure of victory to save the party from further retrogression, and I am confident that majority of the delegates believe in my message and vision of rejuvenating the party and reconnecting it to the mass base of grass root members who are losing hope.
