We Need Ambulances At NDC Congress - Allotey Jacobs

The Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has urged the organisers of the party's upcoming National Delegates Congress to hire a lot of ambulances because the outcome of the elections will shock many candidates. The NDC goes to the polls this Saturday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi to choose new national executives and according to Bernard Allotey Jacobs, many an aspirant, especially many of the incumbents, may collapse with shock and need emergency care when the results are announced. A large majority of the incumbents, including Chairman Kwabena Adjei, General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketia and Organiser Yaw Boateng Gyan, are seeking re-election but in the opinion of Mr Allotey Jacobs, many of them are not loyal to the party and should be kicked out for more competent and loyal persons to lead the NDC. General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketia has said the party has put in place the necessary measures to ensure a successful congress after several difficulties were resolved. At a court hearing Thursday December 18, 2014 Emmanuel Aboagye Didiyie withdrew a suit he filed against the NDC challenging his being prevented from taking part in Saturdays National Delegates Congress. With all set and done, Mr. Allotey Jacobs believes the stage is set for some drama. Speaking on Adom FMs Dwaso Nsem Thursday he indicated that some people in the party are not worthy to be in their positions because I dont see the type of work they actually do. In fact coming Saturday will be full of surprises. And so I am calling for more ambulances in the Baba Yara Sports Stadium because most incumbents would be shocked after they are unseated he insisted.
