Black Stars Signify Doom - Rev Grace Frimpong

THE GENERAL Overseer of Jesus Prayer Ministry at Asawasi near Ejisu in the Ashanti region, Rev. Mrs. Grace Frimpong Boateng has cautioned leaders of the country to rebrand the name Black Stars in the National Flag to Bright Stars. Rev. Mrs. Frimpong said she had a vision that Ghana was seen totally black during a past general election where there was pandemonium everywhere, but the church quickly organized a 40-day prayer and fasting session to save the country. According to her, the Black Stars signify doom which has resulted in the predicaments of Ghana even though the nation had won four times with the same name. She said through vision the Almighty God has revealed to her that If the name changes as recommended, Ghana will witness great progress. Rev. Mrs. Frimpong, popularly known as precious mummy disclosed this in an interview with the DAILY HERITAGE and said this is not the first time the church had interceded for Ghana, adding that the church over the years had been praying hard for patients of HIV/AIDs and Hepatitis B to save them. She said, so far over 30 patients have gained normal life and therefore entreated all and sundry to report their problems at the centre since God is capable of doing everything. She said, recently the strength of the cedi as against major foreign trading currencies which attracted advice from civil society for government to put measures in place was as a result of a 40-day fasting and prayers by her outfit. According to her, corruption has engulfed all agencies which is making things hard for the citizenry. Rev Grace Frimpong advised religious leaders to be bold and speak their minds on issues bothering the state. She said the situation now in Ghana needs dedicated and trustworthy pastors to offer advice to His Excellency, President John Mahama so as to make things easier for the people.
