Yes, I Was Possessed By The 'Truth Demon' - Greenstreet Replies Bagbin

The General Secretary of the Conventions Peoples Party (CPP) has replied Hon. Alban Sumana Bagbin for describing his controversial solidarity speech as demon possessed. According to Ivor Greenstreet yes, my speech was demon possessed. It was possessed by the truth demon. He Bagbin gets possessed sometimes by the same demon. On the word of the Chief Scribe of the CPP, it is obvious the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) is not happy with his statements but If you have a brother who is going astray, it is up to you to put him straight and that is exactly what I did. Ivor Greenstreet has come under strong attack from the ruling NDC after delivering a 'controversial' solidarity message at the just ended National Delegates Congress of the NDC. Even though most solidarity messages are calm and encouraging, the CPP General Secretary took a different line and fired salvos at the ruling party for their poor performance in government, which according to him, is making life unbearable for Ghanaians. This bronya is dry; too, too dryNo one is feeling the better Ghana Ghanaians are not happy at all, were among the various unpleasant phrases used by the CPP man. However, Hon. Bagbin responded sharply by stating; Brotherly or sisterly parties were to give solidarity messages. Now it was unexpected that solidarity messages will turn into a very acidic criticisms of the NDC Government and my very good brother Greenstreet took all of us by surprise because that is not his nature, so I dont know what demon entered him at that time. But Ivor Greenstreet speaking in an interview on Okay FM said there was the need for someone to tell the ruling NDC the truth and "that is exactly what I did". According to him, he had even edited his speech several times before being called upon to speak and that what he had initially prepared was worse than what he actually said on Saturday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. What I wanted to say was even stronger. I took some words off because of my respect for the NDC.
