The Ashanti regional Deputy organiser of the New Patriotic Party, Kwame Adu, has passed away, the party has announced. His death occurred on Sunday, December 21, 2014 after an illness, a statement from party chairman Paul Afoko announced. �Coming at the festive season, it definitely strikes as a very hard blow to the family of the deceased and the entire NPP fraternity, especially, the Ashanti Regional NPP. �On behalf of the NPP, I wish to extend our sincere condolences to the Ashanti Regional NPP and particularly, to the family of the deceased. �As a true patriot and democrat, Kwame Adu made worthy contributions to the NPP and to the country as a whole and while we are saddened by his loss, we are hopeful that his soul will rest in perfect peace,� the statement added.
