The Rev Felix Mensah Agbo, Accra Presbytery Chairman of Global Evangelical Church, has appealed to Ghanaians to help fight corruption which is on the ascendancy.
He said corruption was a menace and that it would take the collective efforts of all to eliminate the canker.
Rev. Agbo made the call at the closing of a four-day Prayer Festival of the Presbytery at Oyibi in the Kpone-Katamanso District.
�You cannot be corrupted if you are led by the Holy Spirit,� he said and appealed to churches to hit hard on good moral values and urged politicians, the police, the civil servants and all other professional bodies to set good example worthy of emulation.
Rev Agbo appealed to Christians to reject �stomach pastors� whose interest was to make money at the expense of the ordinary people.
Rev. Agbo suggested to the Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service to re-introduce the book �Courtesy for boys and girls� that has been out of the educational system for years now.
Rev. Prince Tefe, Synod Clerk of the Global Evangelical Church, appealed to Ghanaians to observe environmental cleanliness because it was the surest way to eliminating the cholera.
