NDC Congress: I Wept On That Day - Sammy Awuku

Kwabena Adjeis message was sorrowful his welcome address was sorrowful; you could see that the man was virtually on his knees indicated the National Youth Organiser of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr Kwabena Adjei, the immediate past National Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress at the partys National Delegates Congress to elect new leaders urged delegates not to allow anyone buy their votes. I stand for the goodness of NDC. I stand for the goodness of Mother Ghana. I dedicate myself, the rest of my life to Mother Ghana...Ive seen things before and there is nothing that will prevent me from dedicating that life to my dear country This is not a time for experimentation, this is a time that we must know that we cannot buy the entire Ghanaian electorate we must not sleep, we have to use our creative intelligence I blend the aged and the youth and we can make 2016 as easily as we have made the previous years. We all have our faults I try to do my best; I will continue to do my best until Im carried into my little box [coffin]." Dr Kwabena Adjei said in a welcome message. Speaking to Dr Kwabena Adjeis message on Tuesdays edition of Kokrokoo, Sammy Awuku described the former National Chairmans message as sorrowful. According to him, everything he said points to the fact that Dr Adjei was begging the delegates to vote for him. Kwabena Adjeis message was sorrowful his welcome address was sorrowful; you could see that the man was virtually on his knees he said. Sam Georges elevation comment Samuel George, a presidential staffer and a member of the Communication team of the NDC courted controversy when he reacted to a solidarity message from the General Secretary of the Convention Peoples Party (CPP), Ivor Greenstreet at the just ended National Delegates Congress of the NDC. Ivor Greenstreet at the congress tried to draw the attention of the ruling government to the fact that Ghanaians are not happy with their administration. He said: Apparently nobody, I mean nobody is seeing your better Ghana agenda. Continuous dumsor, dumsor. Corruption from top to bottom, left right inside out...The most painful thing of all is that you dont care Yoo NDC continue, we are watching you, Ghana is watching you. Do what you want to do, we also know what we will come and do However, Samuel George on his facebook page responded to Ivor Greenstreet saying: "Ivor Greenstreet apparently needs some elevation to see the Better Ghana Speaking to this comment on the same platform, Sammy Awuku described Sam Georges comment as distasteful and highly reprehensible. According to him, the fact that you are in a wheel chair does not mean you cannot ask for good governance I wept that day; it is sad.
