Some inmates at the Nsawam prisons claim all donations presented to the institution by churches, NGO�s and general public during this Christmas have not been given to them. They claim bags of rice; cooking oil and other provisions received on their behalf are hounded to benefit just a few. Some of the inmates who spoke to Adom News on condition of anonymity alleged that the Prison officers share the donated items among themselves. On the way forward, they appealed to public to cook the foodstuff and package it for the inmates before they bring it to the facility. Alternatively, they also urged the churches and the philanthropists to rather send such donations to the orphanage or special schools.
