Tatas And Friends Show Love To United Heart Orphanage

A philanthropic group, Tatas and Friends, journeyed to the United Heart Orphanage, at Bajwiase to share the joy of Christmas with the underprivileged and orphaned children living in the home. Boxing Day is celebrated across the globe during the Christmastide by showing love to friends and family. The team of youthful and cheerful men and women, gathered food items and drinks to celebrate Boxing Day with the orphaned children. Leading the team, Caritas Aryee the Founder of the group, shared her passion to help the needy and how her desire was brought to life in 2013. Children in the home were treated to a Christmas party with entertainment, good food and games by the wonderful team. According to Caritas Aryee, "the purpose of this day was to inspire the children, give them hope and an experience of true love". For her, "the greatest love of God was shown by the birth of Christ", likewise she and her friends would like to replicate this love to other underprivileged children with whatever is within their means so they can experience the love that Christmas brings. "This is our sixth major activity within one and a half years of existence and we hope to do more with the support of friends and loved ones. I appreciate all friends and well wishers who supported in diverse ways. The love is overwhelming", she said. For Caritas, social media is not only for fun, chats and sharing of photos but also a platform to solicit for support and funds for the work of the Organisation and change lives. "People think social media is used for just sharing fotos and all but we at Tatas and Friends solicit our funds on social media only and we are a legalized Organisation." She explained. A donations of bags of rice, cooking oil, preloved clothes, grocery, sanitary items, toys, candies and other needed items were presented to the Orphanage. It was a day full of fun for both the children and the Tatas and friends team.
