A 20 year old father, Jacob Yaw Nkansah at Asuboa near Akyem Oda in the Eastern Region shockingly killed his second born, 21 months old baby by dropping him into KVIP pit on 30th December 2014. Confirming this bizarre news, the Oda Divisional Police Commander, Chief Superintendant James Sarfo Preprah told Peace Fm�s Eastern Regional Reporter, Michael Akrofi that the body of 21 months old baby, George Kwaku Effa was dumped into a KVIP pit this afternoon by his father. According to the Oda Divisional Police Commander, upon his arrest and subsequent interrogation, the body of the 21 months old baby was retrieved with the assistance of some youths from Asuboa. Jacob Yaw Nkansah has confessed that he strangled the baby to death and dumped the body in the KVIP pit; giving reason that he was being teased by his friends and some family members that he is too young to have 2 kids at age 20, hence his decision to kill his 21 months old baby boy. Meanwhile the body of the baby has been deposited at the Oda government hospital morgue while the suspect remains in custody at Oda.
