Ghanaian Referees Are Not Corrupt Nyantakyi

President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwasi Nyantakyi insists Ghanaian referees dont take bribe from club officials. Many pundits and some club officials have consistently complained that referees in every tier of Ghana soccer demand bribes from them before and after league matches to influence the outcomes of games. But speaking to Asempa Sports, Ghanas FA president Kwasi Nyantakyi, who also owns a football club, stated that he has never seen any referee taking bribe and can therefore state on authority that the referees are not corrupt. No Ghanaian referee has also not been caught red handed taking bribe apart from referee Yahaya Musa who hid bribery money in his socks in 2011, he added. I am putting it to all football pundits and fans, if you see any referee taking bribe, bring the evidence to the doorstep of the FA, and we are also ready to double every money given to a referee as bribe, so no referee should hesitate bringing any bribery money they have been given by a club officials to the FA. Ghanaians talk a lot and most of what they say are not factual, Ghanaian referees are God fearing and do not take bribe Kwesi Nyantakyi declared with confidence.
