Government's intention to convert Polytechnics into universities has been greatly welcomed by educationists who see it as a brilliant idea which must be supported. Dr. Yaw Owiredu with the Yishua Institute in an interview with Cecil Obodai Wentun on Uniiq Breakfast drive said it will help train graduates with the necessary skills that will help solve challenges on the ground. He explained that courses in the humanities are equally important which the technical people will need but said these technical universities manage them well in order not to veer off their mandate.
