The former Chelsea talisman may leave the San Siro in June and could be heading to the MLS. Ghana midfielder Michael Essien is not likely to extend his stay at Milan in the summer, according to his agent Fabrizio Ferrari. The ex-Chelsea star could not replicate his fine form since making a January free transfer move to the Italian giants last year. He joined the Serie A side on a one-and-a-half year contract. �I don�t know what will happen, but I believe he will not renew with Milan,� Ferrari told ItalianFootballDaily. �Essien is happy at Milan, he could remain, but it is doubtful. It�s a bit early to predict what will happen in June,� the agent stressed. �Milan is a prestigious club which is difficult to get into, but also difficult for a player to want to leave it.� The 32-year-old has been linked with clubs in the USA � Toronto FC, Columbus Crew and Portland Timbers. He has made nine appearances in 17 Serie A games this season.
