Dont Use Social Media To Create Insecurity - Expert

An expert on intelligence and security issues, Nii Klotei Korley, has advised Ghanaians on the various social media platforms to be mindful of the messages they post on those platforms. According to Mr Korley, an administrator of Afwest International Security, messages that pose a security threat, for instance, should be avoided as much as possible to prevent endangering the lives of others. Nii Korley, who said this during an interaction with a section of the media in Accra, noted that everyone should be security- conscious to avoid such problems. Afwest Security is the latest security company to join the private security industry in Ghana and has a very experienced managerial team. It comes with new operational strategies to give clients value for money in the vital business of ensuring security for their lives and property. Nii Korley said Afwest International Security employed innovative methods in ensuring efficiency in its services. The objective of the company is to secure the premises of its clients, ensuring that all installations, residential and office accommodation, equipment and personnel are well protected. He expressed concern over how some people displayed their electronic gadgets, including mobile phones in commercial vehicles, adding that such a practice could put them in danger since it could attract criminals. He advised people who were attacked by criminals to comply with whatever the criminals asked them to do rather than challenge them or fight back to avoid being killed.
