Jerry Akaminko Backs Black Stars To Succeed At AFCON 2015

Ghana defender Jerry Akaminko has issued an inspiring message to the Black Stars ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations campaign in Equatorial Guinea. The 26-year-old who returned from a long term injury has backed the Stars to succeed at the 2015 Cup of Nations which starts on Saturday. TheEskisehirspor defender missed out on the Black Stars team to Equatorial Guinea having been sidelined for more than eight months. Despite missing the tournament due to injury, the tough-tackling defender is backing the team to triumph at Equatorial Guinea 2015. �I want to wish the team well at the AFCON. I believe they can go all out and make a mark at the competition,� Akaminko spoke to Ghanasportsonline.com in an exclusive interview. �I know many people are angry with the team because of what happed in Brazil, but I believe they have put those think behind them and am very sure they will succeed in Equatorial Guinea�. Akaminko met his untimely fate prior to the 2014 FIFA World Cup after sustaining a horrific ankle injury in a friendly game against the Netherlands.
