Koku Anyidoho Honoured

The Chiefs and people of the Tanyigbe Traditional Area have honoured the Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Koku Anyidoho, for his contribution towards the development of the traditional Area. The colourful ceremony which was held amidst drumming and dancing at the Tanyigbe Anyigbe community center in the Ho Municipality, brought together top government officials and traditional rulers to grace the unique display of culture by the people of Tanyigbe. The occasion was used to commend Mr. Anyidoho for his immense contribution in providing a first-class road network in the Tanyigbe Traditional Area, as well as the provision of some educational infrastructure across the various communities in the area. The chiefs and people of the area also pledged continuous support for the Deputy General Secretary and his party, so as to enable him effectively help President John Dramani Mahama to succeed in delivering the �Better Ghana agenda.� The citation, which was given to him by the Chiefs of the area recounted his leadership role which led to the recognition and socio-economic development of the area. The Citation also appreciated the fact that Koku Anyidoho is the only �son of the soil� who has led two Presidential Candidates to Tanyibge. The records have it that Koku led then Presidential candidate for the NDC, John Atta Mills to Tanyibge in the build-up to the 2008 elections; and subsequently led President Mahama, before he came into power, to Tanyibge in the buildup to the 2012 elections. Koku Anyidoho is obviously appreciated by his people, and there is every indication that his people love him and are ready to support him to the hilt for his good works and strong attachment to the area. The dignitaries who graced the occasion include Minister of Transport, Hon. Dzifa Attivor, Mr Henry Ametefe, Regional Organiser of NDC, Mr Simon Viglo � Regional Secretary of NDC and the Member of Parliament for the Ho Central Constituency Hon. Benjamin Kpodo. Also present at the ceremony were Koku�s father, Maj. Gen. (Rtd) Henry Kwame Anyidoho, the Regional Youth Organiser, Mr. Egypt Kudoto, the Ho Central Constituency Executives led by Mr. Feg Afedo, as well as Mr. Moses Azaglo and Dr. Senanu Dzokoto who are the Ketu North and Keta Constituency Chairmen, respectively.
