In October 2014 ,the management team of the RAID brand in Ghana held mini launch events in Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi to announce the Raid �Scratch Your Way to Riches� promotion, promising to reward consumers who buy the product with free airtime from selected mobile telephone networks and cash prizes. That promise was fulfilled at the first and second mini draws for the promotion in Accra at the Rawlings Park with the general public, some distributors, wholesalers and retailers of the product in attendance. The second and final draw took place on 18th December, 2014 and was once again conducted by officials of the National Lottery Authority, the key collaborator and supervisor for the promotion, to ensure the integrity of the process. 8 lucky consumers were rewarded with one thousand Ghana Cedis each, in addition to other winners who had received up to GHc50 of mobile airtime credit and up to GHc2,000 weekly for buying cans of RAID, scratching cards attached to them and texting PIN numbers to the short code 1751. On 12th January, 2015, the winners from the final draw of the Raid Scratch and Win promo were presented their prizes at a ceremony held at the Raid offices on Spintex Road. Some of the winners awarded were: 1. Seidu Nurudeen, a Non - Formal Education Program Officer from Wa�Upper West Region. 2. Yaw Annan, a Fashion Designer from Abbosey Okai - Accra Region 3. Silas Azagisiya, a Naval Officer from Sekondi - Takoradi Region 4. Esi Turkson, a Cateerer from Teshie Nungua Estates � Accra Region 5. Nana Kwabena Anin- Yeboah, a Student at Univ Of Ghana & GIMPA from Cantoments - Accra Region 6. Joana Akpene Bigodza, a Secretary at Gecmat Ghana Ltd from Accra New Town � Accra Region
