IMANI Boss: Ghana Must Work Again!

Just in 3 months the acting Executive Director of the National Service Scheme, Dr. Kpessah-Whyte has been lauded by mamy for his effort to have removed 75,000 ghost names from the NSS payroll. The number of ghost names removed have reportedly saved the country an amount of GH26.5m that wouldnt have been accounted for. However, according to the CEO of IMANI Ghana, Franklin Cudjoe, Dr. Kpessah-Whyte's achievement has been a burden for the Controller and Accountant General's Department to undertake in 9 years and actually prevented the clearance of the rot at National Service in 2010. Franklin took to Facebook to pledge his support and work hand-in-hand with Dr. Kpessah-Whyte so as to fish out mismanagement in some government intitutions. As I hail my good friend Dr. Kpessah-Whyte for busting 75,000 ghosts on the National Service Payroll, I am going to work with him to understand how he achieved this novel in three months, essentially a breakdown of the figures seeing as Service personnel are employed on an annual basis. Great he said. Franklin also exclaimed that, Ghana must work again!
