Apparently, wives are not off limits when it comes to trash talking in sports arenas. A couple of years ago, Kevin Garnett, Carmelo Anthony and his wife, LaLa Anthony made headlines when Carmelo exchanged obscenities with Kevin on the court. As it turned out, Kevin had said some not-so-nice things about LaLa. And now, history is repeating itself; but this time, the beef is between a player and some basketball fans.
The incident occurred during a recent match between the Miami Heat and the Charlotte Hornets. According to Fox Sports Online, Miami point guard Dwyane Wade gave a crowd of heckling fans the finger after they began saying some nasty things about his wife, actress Gabrielle Union. As a result of his actions, Dwyane was fined $15,000 by the National Basketball Association. In response to his punishment, Wade spoke out against the league, which he feels could do more to protect players.
