NDC Youth Root For Akufo-Addo

A pressure group calling itself “Disappointed Youth of NDC Crossing over to NPP” has pledged their unflinching support behind the Flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo to win the 2016 elections.

At their first annual conference in Ho in the Volta region, the group that started their campaign in the region at the latter part of 2014 said they now have branches across the county with the three Northern regions yet to be covered.

According to them, the crusade was motivated by what they described as “loss of confidence in the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC).”

According to the founder and leader for the group, Robert Tettey-Fio Adjase, the decision to cross carpet to the opposition government has been “insensitive” to the plight of citizens especially the youth.

“The Mahama government has been a wahala and total disgrace to this nation. As a pressure group we are very much aware of the dealings of the NDC government and it’s about time we distanced ourselves from the deep economic crisis.

“The only party that can relinquish the dreams of the masses of this nation is NPP and we believe in no other person than Nana Akufo-Addo.”
