President Mahama Cannot Be Blamed For Dumsor - Sam George

A member of government communications team has rendered an unqualified apology to Ghanaians for the power crisis in the country.

According to Samuel George Nettey, there is no justification for the ongoing load shedding exercise under the Mahama-led administration.

The erratic power supply in the country has moved from bad to worst. Given the circumstance, Ghanaians are made to endure 24 hours without light and all manner of explanations have been given by power producers.

But Sam George on Asempa FM Friday said President Mahama cannot be blamed.

He indicated that the sporadic energy crisis known in local parlance as dumsor is a “result of collective inaction by successive governments” he stressed.

The NDC man has assured of an end to the three year long power crisis in the shortest possible time.

He explained that, the reason the load shedding has moved to 24 hours off, 12 hours on is because “we are shedding only 600 megawatts of power”.

Sam George assured that “in 18 months, dumsor will be a thing of the past” because of the power barges being imported into the country”.
