Lawyer Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie has advised the public to refrain from the prejudice statement that Ace broadcaster Kwasi Kyei Darkwa (KKD) raped 19 year young lady, Ewureffe Orleans Thompson.

The Ace broadcaster who was behind bars since the beginning of the year has been granted bail on the grounds of illness.

KKD has denied the rape allegations and said he had “consensual sex” with Ewureffe Orleans Thompson; subsequently the lady in question has dropped the case against the Entertainment icon but the government has taken up the case to follow it to the latter with the help of the police.

Following the denial by KDD over the rape allegation, Sir John as he is popularly called has charged the public on Okay Fm’s Ade Akye Abia to stop the accusation that the Fashionista has raped the supposed victim as the police and the government is only alleging.

“KKD has not rape anybody in the first place; it is the government and the Police alleging that he has raped someone and he has denied the rape allegation. There is nothing indicating he has raped anybody when you listen to the defense. Before one can conclude that KKD has raped the lady, he should be convicted after it has been proven that he is guilty of the crime and so for now, nobody can say KKD has raped anybody”, he stated.
