A gang of armed robbers Tuesday morning attacked a family at Kasoa in the Central Region shooting one person.
A victim of the attack, speaking to Adom News said they heard a knock on the door and when they opened it, the robbers forced their way into the house.
The robbers ransacked their rooms, making away with phones and cash.
He noted that in their scuffle with the robbers one of their neighbours tried to save them but unfortunately he was shot in the chest.
The victim is said to be in critical condition and has been transferred to the Korle bu Teaching hospital for further treatment.
