Popular Ghanaian comic actor Richard Asante, popularly known as Kalybos, is set to release his maiden full movie titled ‘Kalybos in China.’

The young actor and brand ambassador for Airtel, is currently wrapping up on the movie which is set to be released in March.

‘Kalybos in China’ stars a number of movie icons such David Dontoh and Mikki Osei Berko. It also stars John Dumelo, Ahuofe Patri, Nikki Samonas and Christabel Ekeh, who plays the role of Mandy, Ahuofe Patri’s friend.

According to Kalybos, this movie is not going to the conventional series he does, but a romantic comedy movie. “It is packed with laughter,” he adds. Some of the scenes were shot in China, while the rest were shot in Ghana.

‘Kalybos in China’ is directed by Kofi Asamoah of Kofas Media.
