Do you still recall President Mahama’s famous speech in parliament where he likened the state of Ghana’s economy to that of a meat munched to the bones?

A former General Secretary for the New Patriotic Party has followed up on the matter and says the 'economic bones’ have further been mashed into powder to quench the thievery acts of the National Democratic Congress.

According to Lawyer Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie “President Mahama mashed the bones into powder and used it to prepare soup and tuo zaafi (a Ghanaian cuisine)”.  

Lawyer Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie claims President Mahama and his subordinates have managed to mess the economy up to an extent that they don’t have a remedy for the situation.

In an interview with Peace FM, Mr. Owusu Afriyie aka Sir John stated that the disorder caused by the current NDC administration has forced President Mahama to constantly tell lies when it comes to discussing challenges facing the nation.

“President Mahama simply can’t tell the truth. He went to the Akosombo Dam and returned with news that because the water level has reduced, we can’t get electrical power. Then he went to the Asogli Power Plant and returned with his usual story telling. But we all know that when Asogli was fully operational, the entire nation was facing power crisis”, he noted.

The NPP scribe noted that Ghanaians were now wide-awake and have come to a realization that President Mahama and the NDC are toying with us.
