Wↄn Gbo Demo: NPP Warns "Gangsters Hired To Disrupt Demonstration

The National Organizer of the opposition New Patriotic Party [NPP], John Boadu has hinted that some hired youth are expected to disrupt the party’s much anticipated ‘dumsor’ demonstration also dubbed “Wↄn Gbo” to wit “we are dying”.

John Boadu refused to name those behind what he described as the “hooligans youth” but warned them to desist from that or face the anger of the party.

He noted that, the demonstration which will be led by the party’s flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will be peaceful.

Speaking on Adom FM, John Boadu also known as “Uncle JB” opined that, the reason by the unnamed group to disrupt the demonstration is to tag Nana Addo as a violent person.

“We [NPP] have learnt that some youth have been hired to create confusion just to tag Nana Addo as a hoodlum,” he said.

However, John Boadu called on the police to be vigilant before, during and after the protest which is aimed to express displeasure over Ghana’s unending power crisis.
