Organizers says this move is to ensure that as many Ghanaians as possible follow the event and participate in it.

‘Eventually we hope to get at least three radio stations to cover the event live. We have begun conversation with Radio Gold and it is going well “said Duada Suru, a member of the Socialist Forum of Ghana (SFG) Organizer of the event.

The SFG declared February 24, the day on which the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of the USA overthrew the Nkrumah government in 1966 as ‘Ghana Day of Shame’ about years ago.

The current event will be chaired by Comrade Kwasi Pratt Jnr. Managing Editor of the insight and a member of the Socialist Forum of Ghana.

The key-note speaker will be Professor Akilagpa Sawyer, forum Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana and a member of the Council of State.
