New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Manhyia South says Ghana is on the brink of collapse because God has stopped listening to the prayers of President Mahama.

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh noted that nothing seems to be working in the country because government has no clue how to solve the worsening socio-economic conditions in the country. Speaking on Asempa FM Tuesday, ahead of the party’s Won Gbo demonstration on Wednesday, he said government cannot consign people to poverty due to its mismanagement.

Napo as he is popularly called added that, it is evident Ghanaians made a big mistake by voting for the governing National Democratic (NDC) in 2012. The Manhyia South MP stated that God has given up on Ghana because of the evil being perpetrated in government. He wonders how God will bless a nation when its leadership are only creating, looting and sharing state resources to their cronies.

Napo called on all well-meaning Ghanaians to join the NPP’s demonstration to show the Mahama-led government that “we are tied of corruption, economic mismanagement, dumsor”.
