Gov't's Call For Alternatives To Solving Power Crisis From NPP Is A Cry Of A Lazy Man

The National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has described calls by members of government to offer solutions to the energy crisis and not hit the streets as “the cry of a lazy man”.

To John Boadu, it is only a “lazy man” who would want to continue asking for alternatives to government’s approach to solving Ghana’s power challenges from the NPP after all what has been said already.

“…we have said enough but if you have a government like what we have now, which has made 'yen tie obiaa' as its signature tune, it would not listen to anything anyone says. It is however amazing they are calling for alternatives now that we are about embarking on a demonstration.

“Who even said anyone is obliged to sit and discuss alternative with government before going on a protest? This is nothing but a cry of a lazy man,” he said on Okay FM .

John Boadu made these comments hours before a planned street protest which is to be lead by the biggest opposition NPP, dubbed "Won gbo" (we are dying, literally) to demonstrate against government's handling of the ongoing energy crisis.
