Nana Addo Is A "Lawless Leader"; He Disregarded Approved Route For Demo - Ekumfi MP

The member of Parliamnet for Ekumfi in the Central region has described the leader of the biggest opposition party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as a “lawless leader”.

According to Hon. Abeiku Crenstil, for Nana Addo to have lead protesters through unapproved routes is an indication of his lawlessness.

“…I am surprised Nana Addo being the leader of the NPP chose to exemplify unruliness by not respecting the agreed route of the demonstration.

“This is in contrast to his statement before the street protest calling on the police to arrest anyone who would go against the law. He was the first to have gone foul of the law,” he said.

He made these comments in the studios of NEAT 100.9 FM during a panel discussion of the just ended ‘Won Gbo’ demonstration which was organized by the NPP to protest against the erratic power supply in the country.

Due to what many now believe was a typographical error in the court order which approved of the street protest and its route, a debate has been ignited in the Ghanaian political circles with members of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) claiming the NPP leader lead a “lawless protest”.
