Founder of the Ghana Freedom Party, Madam Akua Donkor, has taken on the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong for suggesting that President Mahama deserves to be given twenty four lashes for messing up Ghana’s economy.

The controversial politician boldly mentioned that if responsible parents raised Hon. Kennedy Agyapong, he wouldn’t speak like he usually does.

The Member of Parliament [MP] for Assin Central is on record to have suggested that President John Dramani Mahama deserves to be given 24 strokes of the cane for his uninspiring leadership as well as saddling the country with corruption and his administration's voodoo economics.  

“It is so sad. I think as a Ghanaian and a politician, the only person who can discipline us [Ghanaians] is GOD. Probably He [God] has to line-up all the politicians in the country…give President Mahama 24 lashes, give the ministers 18 lashes each and give all the parliamentarians including myself [Kennedy] 12 lashes each; then after, pinch our ears and let them go back and do the right thing,” Mr. Agyapong said in an interview on Sahara TV.

However, Madam Akua Donkor, in an interview on AdomTV, said if “responsible parents had given birth to him (Agyapong) and instilled discipline in him, he wouldn't have made those pronouncements”.
