However, just because they have an army of stylists and their pick of designers, it doesn't mean the celebrities attending the 87th Annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday always manage to get their look right.
From Lady Gaga - who is renowned for her bizarre fashion choices - wearing three custom-made ensembles by Azzedine Alaïa, who has never before designed for the Oscars, to the usually stylish Solange Knowles, who turned up looking like she was wearing the red carpet in a Christian Siriano design, there were a few A-listers not looking their best.
