NPP UK Branch Symposium Celebrating Dr JB Danquah

THE NPP UK, as part of activities by the NPP to mark the 50th Anniversary of the death of Dr Joseph Boakye Danquah, lawyer, politician, co-founder of the nation of Ghana, party leader, independence activist and writer, invites  all Ghanaians in the United Kingdom to a Branch symposium, On Saturday 7th March, 2015.

Time-6pm to 10pm

Venue- The Dominion Centre, 9 the Broadway, High Road, Wood Green, London N22 6DS.

Transport-Buses 29,W3 341 to wood Green. Nearest train station is Wood Green on the Piccadilly Line

There will be also be a special quiz game on Ghana’s political History, inspirational traditional poetry recitals with fonton from drum accompaniment, and Cultural performances by the Ablade Cultural Troupe as well as refreshments comprising drinks and the best in Ghanaian dishes from all the 10 regions of Ghana .

The NPP believes it is time for Dr JB Danquah to be restored to his proper place in Ghana’s political History and democratic dispensation. It is time for his works and contribution to the founding of Ghana, as well as the development of Ghana’s legislative, political, literary and traditional culture, to be respected and appreciated.
