Stop Inflating Costs Of Projects

Apostle Christian K. Nartey, the Adabraka Area Superintendent of the Apostolic Church-Ghana, has called on politicians, technocrats and project managers in the country to stop inflating cost of government projects.

He said, such corrupt acts are worrying and that Ghana could never develop if all citizens, especially those in authority do not come together to stop the canker.

“If we mean to fight corruption in the country then let us do things in the fear of God and when that happens we will not think of inflating figures when undertaking any public projects,” he stressed.

Apostle Nartey spoke to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) after he led church members of the Koforidua District to commission a five-bedroom mission house on behalf of Apolstle E.N. Abebrese, the President of the church at the weekend.

The five-bedroom fully furnished detached Manse was built at a cost of GH¢ 155,000 and is expected to accommodate the District Pastor and his family.

He called on technocrats and politicians to think about the general welfare of the society and avoid gratifying their selfish interest to the detriment of the majority.

Apostle J.K. Ansah, the Koforidua Area Superintendent of the church urged pastors in the country not to take undue advantage of their members to live extravagant lifestyles.
