Mahama Wasted Everybodys Time...He Sounded Like A DCE

New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Upper Denkyira West says President Mahama’s State of the Nation Address is “much ado about nothing.

According to Benjamin Kofi Ayeh, the President instead of inspiring hope in the citizenry sounded like a “District Chief Executive” addressing a gathering. President John Mahama’s 3rd State of the Nation Address to Parliament has received mixed reactions.

While members of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) hail it as a reflection of the state of affairs, the opposition NPP maintained that it was a recycle of failed promises.

The Minority in Parliament have set Wednesday March 4,  to deliver what they called the True State of the Nation Address.

In support, Ben Ayeh on Asempa FM Thursday said President Mahama “wasted everybody’s time”.

He explained that the speech was a repetition of the same ‘utopian’ promises he made in 2014.

“I was confused because President Mahama sounded like a DCE so I had to pinch myself many times to know it was the President speaking” he scoffed.

The Upper Denkyira West MP indicated that President Mahama came to numerate nonexistent projects and made promises he know it will never be fulfilled.

Ben Ayeh expressed disappointment in the President for failing to give concrete measures to solve the power crisis and salvage the ailing economy” he added.

“I was expecting President Mahama to surprise me but as usual he came to do give the normal rhetorics”.
